On June 14 and 15, MC Mong hosted livestreams through his personal social media account. During the broadcasts, he communicated with fans by playing requested songs, reading messages, and even streaming from outside his home.
Throughout the broadcasts, MC Mong appeared cheerful and relaxed, frequently joking and laughing with viewers. The livestreams attracted attention because news emerged on June 15 that police had requested an arrest warrant for Cha Ga-won.
MC Mong and Cha Ga-won founded One Hundred together in 2023. Although MC Mong stepped away from company-related operations and severed ties with Cha Ga-won in June 2025, a recent episode of MBC’s PD Notebook alleged that the two had maintained an inappropriate relationship. The program also claimed that Cha Ga-won had diverted part of the company’s ₩115 billion (approximately $83 million USD) investment funds into personal accounts and that ₩12 billion (approximately $8.7 million USD) was used for MC Mong’s gambling activities in Las Vegas.

Both MC Mong and Cha Ga-won have denied all allegations, including claims of an improper relationship, gambling, and misuse of company funds.
Meanwhile, the Financial Crimes Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency recently requested an arrest warrant for Cha Ga-won on charges including fraud under South Korea’s Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes. Prosecutors are currently reviewing whether to formally seek the warrant.
According to investigators, Cha Ga-won is accused of proposing a business project utilizing intellectual property (IP) belonging to artists under One Hundred and signing a contract with entertainment platform company Nomus. She allegedly received an advance payment of ₩24.2 billion but failed to carry out the project.

Police reportedly believe Cha Ga-won entered into a duplicate contract while concealing the existence of a prior agreement with another company that was unlikely to expire soon. Investigators also allege that she was not adequately prepared to fulfill the business obligations at the time of signing.
Separately, Cha Ga-won is accused of receiving approximately ₩5.4 billion in housing deposit funds from an acquaintance under a mutual lease arrangement but failing to fulfill his side of the agreement.
Cha Ga-won is expected to file a complaint with South Korea’s National Human Rights Commission on June 16, alleging that investigators violated her rights during the investigation process.

Her legal representatives stated, “We regret that an arrest warrant was requested despite concerns regarding the legality of the search and seizure process, which have already led to a quasi-appeal. We have refuted all allegations raised during the police investigation and question whether the police have properly understood the facts and legal issues involved.”
As the legal process continues, public attention remains focused on whether prosecutors will formally seek the warrant and whether the controversy could have broader implications for individuals connected to One Hundred.
