The upcoming June 13 broadcast of MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View will reveal a special day shared by I.O.I as the group comes together once again to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.

I.O.I was originally formed through Mnet’s survival show Produce 101 in 2016. Despite their relatively short period of promotions, the project girl group swept music show wins and rookie awards, earning immense love from fans. Their full-group reunion for the 10th anniversary has already become a major topic among fans and the entertainment industry alike.

The episode will showcase the finale of the group’s anniversary project through a special concert. Members reportedly could not hide their excitement as they prepared to stand on stage again as I.O.I after nearly a decade apart. Adding to the emotional atmosphere, their new song Suddenly unexpectedly climbed to No.1 on music charts on the day of the concert, making the occasion even more memorable.

Even during rehearsals, the members displayed the same bright energy and strong teamwork fans remembered from years ago. Despite their long hiatus, they reportedly fell back into sync naturally, filling the venue with laughter through their playful chemistry and warm interactions.

Most notably, fans have been eagerly anticipating the emotional reunion between I.O.I and their supporters after nine years. As nostalgic performances of songs ranging from Pick Me to Downpour unfolded, tears reportedly spread throughout the audience, while the members themselves struggled to contain their emotions.

Among them, Jung Chae Yeon particularly drew attention after breaking down backstage before the concert even began. The singer-actress reportedly became overwhelmed by emotions, balancing the joy of reuniting with fans who had patiently waited for years and the bittersweet thought that this reunion stage might possibly be their last.

The heartfelt stories and emotional concert moments of I.O.I’s reunion after nine years will be revealed on MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View, airing June 13 at 11:10 PM KST.
