A content creator who trained alongside BTS V at the military training center recently uploaded a series of videos recounting their experiences together. The videos included stories about spending Christmas at church with the BTS star, games they played during training, and details about the elite trainee selection process. The creator also shared various memories from their military service, offering fans a glimpse into V’s life during enlistment.
After watching the videos, V surprised viewers by leaving a comment himself. “It’s been a long time. Your memory is really amazing,” he wrote, warmly greeting his former comrade.
The interaction quickly gained attention among fans, who were delighted to see V reconnecting with someone he had served with during his military service.
As additional videos continued to be uploaded, some fans began expressing concerns that too many personal details from V’s military service were being publicly disclosed. In response, the creator explained that the purpose of the videos was simply to show what a kind and genuine person V is. “I wanted people to know what a good person V is,” the creator said, adding that it might be best to stop uploading further videos due to the growing controversy.
V later responded again, making it clear that he was not bothered by the content. “Why stop? Tell people even more. I find it entertaining,” he commented jokingly, adding that he did not even remember some of the stories very clearly. Following V’s response, the creator indicated that he intended to continue sharing the videos.
As the debate persisted online, V posted a longer message on June 3 to clarify his thoughts. The BTS member acknowledged that some fans were concerned but emphasized that he genuinely enjoyed watching the videos. “It seems there are people who are worried, but I am really enjoying the videos,” V wrote. “They were made with good intentions, so I hope you don’t worry too much about every reaction.”
At the same time, he said he understood why some viewers might have reservations. “Because the videos are being uploaded in short segments, I think misunderstandings can happen. I can understand why people might feel that way.”
V also took the opportunity to reflect fondly on their shared military experience. “Among everyone in our platoon, you were the ace,” he told his former comrade. “The time I spent with you remains a really enjoyable memory.” He added that people who were not present during their service might find it difficult to fully understand the atmosphere and emotions of those moments.
In a lighthearted conclusion, V joked about worrying that the creator might be stress-lifting at the gym because of the criticism. “I’m leaving this comment because I’m worried you might be doing bench presses while stressing over these reactions,” he wrote. He continued, “I don’t remember what your dream was, but seeing how fit you are now, I guess becoming a bodybuilder must have been your dream. Fighting!”
V enlisted in December 2023 and served in the Special Duty Team of the Military Police under the Republic of Korea Army 2nd Corps. He was officially discharged from military service last month.
His latest comments have been praised by many fans for their warmth and sincerity, while also helping ease concerns surrounding the videos shared by his former military colleague.
