On May 29, Lee Hyori shared news of the upcoming charity event through her social media account, encouraging fans and residents to attend the bazaar organized to support rescued animals.
What especially drew attention was Lee Hyori’s direct involvement in preparing for the event herself.
In photos posted online, the star could be seen actively helping organize the bazaar alongside acquaintances involved in animal rescue and protection work. Along with the images, she warmly wrote, “Please come tomorrow,” personally promoting the event to her followers.
Fans were particularly touched by the fact that Lee Hyori traveled back to Jeju to support the cause despite recently relocating to Seoul after living on the island for more than a decade.
Lee Hyori has consistently participated in animal protection campaigns and donation projects over the years.
Last year, she donated two tons of pet food to an animal shelter caring for abandoned animals. She also designed and sold special animal-themed T-shirts, donating all profits from the sales to support rescue dogs.
The singer has long been known for using her influence to raise awareness about animal welfare issues, earning admiration from fans for her sincerity and hands-on involvement rather than limiting her support to financial contributions alone.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori married singer-songwriter Lee Sang-soon in 2013. The couple spent approximately 11 years living in Jeju before recently moving to a detached home in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno District, Seoul.
In addition to her entertainment activities, Lee Hyori is also reportedly operating a yoga studio in Seoul’s Yeonhui-dong area.
