Disney+’s breakout Korean reality series Battle of Fates is reportedly getting a spinoff following its explosive popularity both in Korea and internationally.
According to an exclusive report on May 21, Disney+ is currently preparing a new variety program centered around the show’s Top 3 finalists, with additional fan-favorite shamans potentially joining the cast.

The upcoming program will reportedly not function as an official Season 2, but rather as a separate spinoff project.
The concept is said to revolve around the finalists opening a “Shinbbal Stay,” where ordinary guests will participate in immersive K-shamanism experiences and spiritual tourism activities.
Reports also revealed that applications for public participants have already begun.
Given the original series’ strong international popularity, producers are reportedly expecting applications from viewers of all ages and nationalities.
The spinoff is expected to feature the final Top 3 contestants from the original show: Yoon Dae-man, Lee So-bin and Seolhwa.

Additional well-known spiritual practitioners from the original series may also reportedly join the cast.
The new project is expected to premiere globally on Disney+ either later this year or during the first half of next year.
The original Battle of Fates finale aired in March and centered around the theme “War of Souls,” with finalists competing through spiritual counseling and emotional healing missions.
Winner Yoon Dae-man particularly drew attention after comforting a father grieving the loss of his 16-year-old daughter, ultimately earning the highest score and taking home the grand prize of 100 million won.

According to Disney+, Battle of Fates officially became the most-watched title in Korea on the platform based on cumulative viewership. The achievement reportedly surpassed the previous record set by Moving in 2023.
The reality show also ranked as the most-watched Disney+ release across the Asia-Pacific region among titles released this year.
With Disney+ now expanding the franchise through a spinoff, industry insiders are closely watching whether the series can evolve into one of Korea’s next major global reality brands.
