MC Mong has once again become the center of controversy after continuing his series of explosive livestream broadcasts, this time publicly apologizing to Baekhyun while revealing massive investment figures tied to the singer’s solo career.
During a personal livestream on May 19, MC Mong suddenly expressed deep affection and regret toward Baekhyun, stating:
“Baekhyun is truly such a good person that I don’t even want to talk about him anymore. I still feel so sorry toward him, and I love him so much. There’s really no one else like him.”
The emotional comments quickly attracted attention because only one day earlier, MC Mong had already dragged Baekhyun’s name into his growing controversy involving businessman Cha Ga Won’s family and alleged illegal gambling gatherings.

In the earlier livestream, MC Mong claimed that Cha Jun Young — the uncle of One Hundred chairman Cha Ga Won — frequently encouraged Baekhyun to participate in gambling activities.
According to MC Mong, Cha Jun Young allegedly told Baekhyun: “A man should know how to gamble too,” while repeatedly suggesting trips to Las Vegas.
The rapper also mentioned actor Kim Min Jong and a former executive connected to singer Kim Ho Joong while discussing alleged gambling-related gatherings. Following the accusations, Kim Min Jong’s side reportedly announced plans for legal action.
Despite escalating tensions, MC Mong appeared noticeably cautious while discussing Baekhyun during the newer livestream.
He repeatedly emphasized that he did not want the EXO member to become caught in unnecessary controversy, saying: “Baekhyun is too kind of a person. I hate seeing him get hurt because of this.”

The rapper additionally shocked viewers by revealing the alleged production costs invested into Baekhyun’s solo activities after joining One Hundred.
According to MC Mong, approximately 10 billion won was invested into Baekhyun’s first solo album under the company, while the second album allegedly required another 5 billion won in production costs — totaling around 15 billion won overall.
The financial claims immediately sparked heated discussion online due to the enormous scale of the reported investment.
The controversy arrives amid ongoing disputes involving artists connected to One Hundred. Reports indicate that Baekhyun and members of THE BOYZ have already notified the company regarding the termination of their exclusive contracts.
As MC Mong continues publicly discussing internal business conflicts, financial disputes, and personal relationships through livestream broadcasts, public attention surrounding the situation continues intensifying across Korean entertainment communities.
