The controversy reportedly intensified after online users claimed Zhou Yiran had been spotted visiting the apartment complex where Bai Lu lives. Earlier, the two stars had also been photographed dining together, quickly fueling relationship speculation across Chinese social media.
Although both agencies denied the dating rumors, Bai Lu continued facing criticism from multiple directions simultaneously.
According to Chinese media discussions, the actress had already become a controversial figure following her recent appearances on the variety show Keep Running.
