The upcoming BL drama Love Class 3 is already becoming a hot topic online after its first teaser sparked speculation that the story may have been inspired by real-life K-pop idols and popular fan pairings.
The newly released teaser introduced a storyline centered around male trainees preparing to debut in the same idol group while competing through a survival program format. The combination of idol culture, survival show pressure, and romance immediately caught the attention of K-pop and BL fans alike.
However, alongside excitement for the series, viewers quickly began debating whether certain elements of the story resemble famous real-life idol pairings.
One pairing repeatedly mentioned by fans is Sung Hanbin and Zhang Hao of ZEROBASEONE.
The two stars first met through Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet, where they developed a close friendship throughout the competition. Zhang Hao ultimately ranked first while Sung Hanbin placed second, leading fans to heavily support the duo under the ship name “Haobin.”
