Thailand’s entertainment industry is currently facing one of its most shocking scandals in recent years after explosive allegations emerged involving the powerful Singha business family and the husband of actress Mild Lapassalan.
According to statements circulating widely online on May 9, Hiso Psi — the younger brother of businessman Hiso Pi, who is reportedly the designated heir of the Singha family empire — publicly accused his older brother of repeated sexual abuse spanning more than a decade.
In his statement, Psi alleged that the abuse began when he was 12 years old and continued until he turned 24. He claimed the incidents allegedly took place inside family residences and other private spaces connected to the family. Psi also stated that he possesses audio recordings related to the allegations.
The accusations quickly sent shockwaves through Thai social media due to the enormous influence and wealth associated with the Singha family, which is widely recognized as one of Thailand’s most powerful business dynasties.
Psi further alleged that multiple family members had known about the situation for years but intentionally chose to protect the older brother because he was considered the family’s successor. According to the claims, relatives allegedly refused to intervene and instead prioritized preserving the family’s reputation and inheritance structure.
The controversy escalated even further after reports surfaced claiming the family had allegedly filed legal action against Psi, accusing him of damaging the family’s honor and showing “ingratitude.” Additional reports claimed the family demanded the return of assets and inheritance money previously given to him by his grandfather.
The scandal has drawn even greater public attention because Hiso Pi married actress Mild Lapassalan in December 2025 after approximately eight years of dating. Reports currently circulating online also claim that before the marriage took place, Psi allegedly attempted several times to contact Mild in order to warn her about the situation.
According to the allegations, Mild still proceeded with the wedding and reportedly prevented Psi from attending the ceremony.
The actress is also reportedly pregnant as of May 2026, adding further public scrutiny and emotional attention to the situation.
As the allegations continue spreading rapidly online, Mild Lapassalan has not yet released an official public statement responding to the controversy.
At this stage, the accusations remain claims made publicly by Psi, and no court ruling or official legal conclusion regarding the allegations has been announced. However, the case has already become one of the most heavily discussed topics across Thai entertainment and social media due to the combination of celebrity involvement, family conflict and the influence of one of Thailand’s wealthiest business clans.
