On April 13, reports confirmed that Ji Ye-eun and Vata recently developed their friendship into a romantic relationship.
The two, both born in 1994, reportedly grew close through shared interests and religion, initially meeting as “church friends” before naturally becoming a couple.

Shortly after the relationship was made public, fans rediscovered a post from an online community dated October 30 of last year.
The anonymous writer had hinted at the pair’s closeness, suggesting that they might soon become a couple. The post specifically mentioned their shared church connection and implied a possible romantic development.
Now that the relationship has been confirmed, the post is being dubbed a “prophetic post” (성지글)—a term used in Korean online culture when past predictions turn out to be true.
Their relationship wasn’t entirely unexpected to close followers. Vata previously worked with Ji Ye-eun during the Waterbomb Seoul 2025 stage, where she performed as part of the project group “Chungju Ji-ssi” alongside Ji Suk-jin.

Vata contributed by choreographing the group’s track Milkshake, further strengthening their connection.
Ji Ye-eun, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, has steadily built her career through web dramas, films, and variety shows. She gained wider recognition through SNL Korea and as a fixed cast member on Running Man.
Meanwhile, Vata rose to prominence as the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz, finishing as runner-up on Street Man Fighter. He later gained widespread attention for choreographing Zico’s hit New Thing and Jennie’s Like JENNIE.
The resurfaced post has only fueled fan excitement, with many reacting in disbelief at how accurately the relationship was predicted. While some view it as coincidence, others are calling it a rare example of insider-level foresight within online communities.
