On the afternoon of November 26th, the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards (2021) was held at KBS Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The winners of the “Popular Star Award” were Song Joong-ki with “Space Sweepers”, Koo Kyo-hwan with “Escape from Mogadishu”, Jeon Yeo-bin with “Night in Paradise” and Im Yoona “Miracle.”
Song Joong-ki said, “I was very sorry that ‘Space Sweepers’ couldn’t be released in theaters, but now that I’m receiving such a big award, I feel so happy because it feels like the award encourages me.”
Koo Kyo-hwan said, “I knew I was popular with the ‘Mogadishu’ team, but I never imagined I was so popular outside too. Fighting,” leaving a witty comment.
Jeon Yeo-bin said, “It’s an unexpected award, so I’m still confused. I’m so happy to receive it with my favorite senior actors. It’s out of the blue, but I love you (Moon) So-ri sunbaenim.”
Im Yoona made a speech as well, “I’m so grateful to the audience and fans for cheering and loving “Miracle.” I will continue to work hard in the future.”
