Former project girl group I.O.I has officially begun preparations for its highly anticipated 10th anniversary comeback, sparking excitement among fans.
On March 9, the group opened brand-new official social media accounts under the username “ioi\ 10th” on major platforms including X, Instagram, and TikTok.
Through these newly created channels, I.O.I plans to gradually release updates related to its upcoming 10th anniversary album, building anticipation ahead of the group’s comeback scheduled for May.
Shortly after launching the accounts, the group also announced plans to recruit a new fandom name, inviting fans to participate directly in the anniversary project. The initiative is expected to make the celebration even more meaningful for longtime supporters.
The lineup for the reunion includes Im Nayoung, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Sohye, Yoo Yeonjung, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon, and Jeon Somi.
Earlier, the announcement of I.O.I’s reunion already drew significant attention because it marks the group’s first collective activity in about nine years since their promotions ended in 2017.
As part of the anniversary project, I.O.I is also planning to hold a concert in Seoul, followed by a tour across several Asian countries. The performances are expected to bring the members closer to their global fanbase while celebrating a decade since their debut.
