On March 3, Park Bom shared a letter beginning with the words, “To the people of the nation,” stating that she is not ill and has been doing well, but that she wanted to speak about something “careful and frightening.” She referenced Adderall, a psychotropic medication, emphasizing that it is not a narcotic. She explained that she is an ADD patient and suffers from attention deficit disorder.

In a shocking claim, she alleged that Sandara Park had been caught in a drug-related incident and that Park Bom herself was framed as a “drug addict” to cover it up. She further argued that at the time, there were no specific laws in Korea regarding Adderall, but that regulations were established after her case became public.

Park Bom also addressed her former agency, asking Yang Hyun-suk, producer Teddy, and CL not to report to authorities that she had used more than the prescribed dosage of medication she claims she had never abused in 30 years.

Back in 2010, Park Bom faced allegations of smuggling amphetamine-containing medication from the United States. At the time, prosecutors suspended indictment after considering that the medication had been brought in for medical treatment purposes.

In October 2025, Park Bom also shocked the public by posting allegations against Yang Hyun-suk, claiming that profits generated from her activities with 2NE1 had not been properly paid. She shared what she described as a complaint filing, naming Yang and accusing him of fraud and embezzlement. She alleged that income from music releases, concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, events, songwriting, and composing had not been fairly distributed, claiming significant financial damages.

Regarding this, D-Nation Entertainment issued an official statement on October 23, 2025, asserting that all settlements related to her 2NE1 activities had already been completed and that no such legal complaint had been formally received. The agency added that Park Bom had suspended activities to focus on treatment and recovery, emphasizing that she was emotionally unstable and in urgent need of rest. They also urged the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified claims that could cause further harm to the artist and her family.

On March 3, a source close to Sandara Park told Xports News that Park Bom’s remarks, which mentioned Sandara Park in connection with drugs, are “completely groundless.” The source further stated, “Sandara Park is rather worried about Park Bom’s current health condition.” On March 4, Sandara Park also uploaded an Instagram story to confirm this piece of information: “I have never used drugs. I wish her well.”

Park Bom debuted in 2009 as a member of 2NE1 under YG Entertainment. After the group disbanded in 2016, she left the company and continued her solo career under D-Nation Entertainment. Following 2NE1’s reunion, she reconnected with YG but has suspended activities since August 2025 due to health concerns.
