On the February 9 broadcast of KBS 1TV’s Hometown Report, No Min Woo appeared alongside youth association leader Son Heon Soo as they visited Jo-eup 1-ri village in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. The episode followed the two as they provided hairdressing services and helped out with various chores for the village’s senior residents.

Appearing in the studio, No Min Woo shared that he had long admired how warmly Son Heon Soo treated the elderly and how loved he was by them. He explained that he had always hoped to bring joy to seniors if given the chance, and when the opportunity arose, he happily joined the volunteer effort.

Before beginning the hair services, No Min Woo carefully prepared a refreshment table to welcome the elders, setting a thoughtful and respectful tone for the day. Son Heon Soo explained the purpose of the visit, noting that it can be difficult for seniors to travel during the cold winter months just to get a haircut. With the Lunar New Year approaching, they wanted to help the elders look neat and feel good.

Once the styling began, No Min Woo poured his heart into the work. He not only cut and dyed hair but also gently washed it, showing meticulous care throughout the process. His surprisingly skilled hands, especially during soothing scalp massages, drew admiration and applause from those watching. The steady stream of elderly “customers” kept the atmosphere lively and warm, with smiles filling the makeshift salon.

Meanwhile, Son Heon Soo added a special touch by offering manicure services to the grandmothers. One elderly woman, clearly delighted, joked that her children might not even recognize her afterward, expressing her deep satisfaction.

Through this unexpected yet sincere act of service, No Min Woo revealed a new side of himself one defined not by glamour, but by kindness leaving both viewers and villagers touched by his genuine dedication and warmth.
