During a recent livestream, blogger Yi Yi Zi claimed that she had once attended a private gathering with G-Dragon. While denying that she ever explicitly called herself his girlfriend, she made a series of remarks that many viewers found provocative.
“Did I ever say I was G-Dragon’s girlfriend? When did I say that?” she said during the broadcast. “Maybe at first it was just carelessness. I don’t know whether he would acknowledge it or not. I never said how much he liked me. I just know that he pulled me onto his lap. After that party, I felt like he probably liked me quite a bit because when we met again later in Tokyo, he even greeted me.”

The blogger also repeated earlier claims about drinking with the idol, saying that G-Dragon had a low alcohol tolerance and often lost drinking games to her. She went on to make an even more controversial remark, implying she once had to choose between T.O.P and G-Dragon, and joking that if she had not gotten G-Dragon drunk that night, she would not have had to pay to attend BIGBANG concerts later on.
These statements quickly circulated across Chinese online communities, where reactions were overwhelmingly negative. Many netizens accused her of fabricating stories for attention or commercial gain.
Comments included:
- “Stop bragging. Before you could even get close to G-Dragon, T.O.P would’ve thrown you out.”
- “If I wanted to sell products without fame, I’d make up stories like this too.”
- “Someone else also once claimed Cha Eun-woo was her friend’s boyfriend.”
- “Are you sure it wasn’t Seungri’s lap?”
- “Maybe she shouldn’t have been discharged from the psychiatric ward.”
As of now, G-Dragon has made no response to the claims. The situation continues to fuel debate online, with many criticizing the blogger for crossing boundaries and using a global star’s name to gain attention, while others dismiss the incident as another case of exaggerated livestream storytelling.
