Biography

Yoo Seon-ho is a South Korean singer, actor, and television personality. He first gained public attention as a contestant on the survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2 and subsequently launched a diverse career that spans music, acting, and variety programming.

Early Life and Education

Yoo Seon-ho was born on January 28, 2002, in Incheon, South Korea. He attended Hanlim Multi Art School, a well-known institution for aspiring entertainers, where he studied alongside other future idols and actors, developing his skills in performance alongside academic studies.

Career

Rise to Public Attention: Produce 101 and Variety Shows (2017)

Yoo first rose to prominence in 2017 as a contestant on Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2, a large-scale reality competition series designed to form a new boy group. Although he did not make the final lineup finishing 17th overall his warm personality, visuals, and stage presence earned him a dedicated fanbase.

Following his appearance on the show, Yoo became a regular guest on Korean variety programs such as Special Private Life, Live Talk Show Taxi, and Problematic Men, showcasing his charm and versatility. He also appeared on Let’s Eat Out This Saturday and participated in campaigns such as TMON’s Let’s Fly TMON Tour.

Acting Debut and Supporting Roles (2017–2022)

In August 2017, Yoo made his acting debut in the web drama Mischievous Detectives, appearing alongside Apink’s Namjoo and fellow Produce 101 contestant Ahn Hyung-seob. The series was well-received, surpassing 10 million views on Naver in its first month.

He continued to build his acting resume with roles in television dramas. In 2021, he appeared in the JTBC drama Undercover, portraying the son of characters played by Ji Jin-hee and Kim Hyun-joo. In 2022, Yoo expanded his screen presence with roles in Doctor Lawyer, where he played the younger version of So Ji-sub’s character, and the historical drama Under the Queen’s Umbrella. That same year he became a cast member of 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4, a flagship KBS2 reality travel show.

Music and Solo Activities (2018–Present)

Yoo Seon-ho also launched his music career as a solo artist. He released his first extended play Spring, Seonho on April 11, 2018, featuring the single “Maybe Spring,” which he performed on music shows including M Countdown.

Beyond music and acting, Yoo maintains an active presence online, including on social media and YouTube, where he shares vlogs, behind-the-scenes content, and other personal updates.

Relationship

According to a Newsen report on January 29 2026, Shin Eun Soo and Yoo Seon Ho are currently dating. Both born in 2002 and now 25 years old, the two stars reportedly began their relationship late last year and have been seeing each other for about three months.

The couple is said to have met through gatherings with close mutual friends. Despite having no prior projects together or professional overlap, their connection gradually developed into a romantic relationship as they spent more time together.
