tzuyang donation burger

On January 26, Tzuyang uploaded a video titled, “₩5 Million Donation per Burger?! How Many Did I Eat? I Ran There Right Away After Reading the Comment.” The video revealed how a single message from a young fan led to an extraordinary act of generosity.

The child, who introduced themselves as a 13-year-old subscriber, shared that they endured repeated surgeries by watching Tzuyang’s videos whenever they were in pain. The fan requested a mukbang featuring a “Lucky Burger,” a promotional item that donates ₩100 per burger sold, adding a wish that “children who are sick like me can recover quickly.” The comment quickly spread online, drawing waves of encouragement and support.

Touched by the message, Tzuyang filmed a Lucky Burger mukbang, eating seven burgers herself while staff members ate three, totaling ten burgers. She then decided to go far beyond the campaign’s original donation amount. “I’m grateful that this child watches my videos, and even more thankful for letting me know about this donation event,” Tzuyang said. “I recently reached 13 million subscribers and wanted to do something meaningful. I’ll donate ₩5 million per burger—₩50 million in total.”

She also sent a warm message to the young fan, saying, “The surgeries must be really tough, but I hope you get to eat lots of delicious food and that one day we can eat together.”

The ₩50 million donation was made in the subscriber’s name to the Asan Medical Center Children’s Hospital Hope Sharing Fund in Seoul. The fund supports pediatric patient treatment, medical research, facility improvements, and hospital schools for children whose education has been disrupted by long-term treatment. The hospital reportedly provides transparent reports on how the donations are used.

The young subscriber later commented again on the video, writing, “Thank you so much. I’m watching this from the hospital.”

What began as a sincere message from a child has now touched countless viewers, with netizens responding, “I hope sick children recover quickly,” and “Having money doesn’t automatically give you a heart like this.” The story has been widely praised as a reminder of how empathy and influence can come together to create real-world impact.
