On January 22, Yura appeared on Episode 1 of the YouTube content True Man Show, hosted by Lee Yong Jin. In a candid lie detector interview, the two discussed dating rumors, including the now-viral claim that Yura once dated Yang Se Chan.

Lee Yong Jin began by noting that Yura had never been publicly involved in a dating scandal. Yura playfully responded, “If I’ve never dated anyone, shouldn’t that disqualify me from being on EXchange?”

When asked if she’d ever imagined being on EXchange herself, Yura admitted, “Yes, I’ve thought about it quite a lot.”

She also revealed that fans approached her after the show aired, concerned she might not be dating at all. “They said, ‘Are you not in a relationship?’ And I had to tell them, ‘No, that’s not true,’” she shared.

Lee then questioned whether her agency had ever blocked news of a relationship. Yura clarified, “No articles have ever come out. There was almost one, but I think I hid well. No photos were ever taken.” She then jokingly shared her secret: “Here’s a real tip—never be in the parking lot together. Most dating rumors come from parking lot photos. Even if you go in separately, people will still catch on. Just enter through the first floor.”

The conversation turned serious when Lee brought up a long-standing rumor involving Yang Se Chan. Online users speculated that he once dated a girl group member, with some narrowing it down to Yura after a Running Man episode. Yura explained, “They were trying to guess who Se Chan’s ex was, and as the conditions narrowed, only two candidates remained. When the other person denied it, everyone assumed it was me.”

Yura emphasized that the rumor is false. “I’m not the person they’re talking about. Se Chan and I are close, so I just laughed it off at first. But the comments recently have been overwhelming.” She clarified, “Honestly, I haven’t seen him in 10 years—not once.”
