Previously, in April of last year, BoA addressed her contract status directly, saying, “My contract runs until December 31, 2025. Until then, I’ll do my very best and stay truly happy as singer BoA. Don’t worry, my beloved Jumping BoAs (BoA’s official fandom name).” Her message reassured fans but also hinted at the importance of this milestone moment.

BoA debuted on August 25, 2000, at just 13 years old, and went on to become one of the most influential pioneers of K-pop. Over the past quarter-century, she has delivered countless hit songs such as Atlantis Princess, My Name, Girls on Top, and Only One. Her success extended beyond Korea, particularly in Japan, earning her the enduring title of “Asia’s Star.”

In celebration of her 25th debut anniversary this year, BoA released her 11th full-length album Crazier on August 4. The album not only showcased her refined musical identity but also connected deeply with the shared memories and emotions she has built over the years with her official fan club. She further marked the milestone by holding her fifth solo concert on August 30 and 31 at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, both shows drawing enthusiastic crowds.

BoA also remained highly active in Japan. On May 30, her Japanese debut anniversary, she released the single Young & Free, which she co-wrote and co-composed. This was followed by another single, Good for U, on August 11. From September to November, she embarked on a Japan tour that included stops in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.
