On December 30, a video titled “Pinggyego Awards Ceremony Review (Spoiler Alert)” was uploaded to Choi Daniel’s YouTube channel. In the video, he spoke candidly while heading home after attending the 3rd Pinggyego Awards Ceremony, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the event.
Choi Daniel, who recently wrapped up his role as a temporary cast member on Running Man, said, “After the ceremony, we all gathered to take a commemorative photo. Even though my time as a temporary member has ended, it was so nice to see Haha, Ye Eun, Seok Jin, Se Chan, and Jae Suk again.” He added that although he wanted to take photos together, it didn’t happen, expressing hope to do so next time they meet.
He also spoke about Ji Ye Eun’s health, drawing attention as she recently returned after taking a break due to thyroid disease. “Ye Eun looks much healthier now,” Choi Daniel shared. “She was seriously ill and even had to undergo surgery. She’s in the process of regaining her health, and every time I see her, I tell her to take care of herself and not get sick. Today, she looked like she was in good condition, which made me really happy.”

Previously, in August, Ji Ye Eun’s agency CP Entertainment announced that she would suspend activities to focus on her recovery. At the time, she had visited the hospital due to health issues and, following medical advice, took about three weeks off starting in September.
Ji Ye Eun returned to Running Man after her short hiatus, where fellow cast member Kim Jong Kook revealed on air that her noticeable facial swelling was not due to weight gain but was caused by thyroid problems, drawing widespread attention.

After completing her recovery period, Ji Ye Eun officially resumed full activities through the Running Man broadcast that aired on the 2nd of last month, marking a positive step forward as she continues to regain her strength and health.
