According to multiple Chinese media outlets on December 28th, Tao recently appeared on a Chinese variety show where he revealed his current weight, drawing attention from viewers. Tao married singer and actress Xu Yiyang, a former SM Rookies trainee, in a lavish wedding ceremony held in Hainan Province, China, this past October. Since then, his noticeably softer jawline has already become a topic of online discussion.
During the show, Tao found himself suddenly pulled away by the production team while he was sleeping, barely managing to put on his pants. Startled by the situation, he shouted, “I’m heavy—I’m 90 kilograms!”
The other cast members teased him about gaining weight, with one jokingly asking, “So is this what they call ‘happy weight’ after marriage?” Tao responded by saying, “I’ve actually been managing myself a lot and even lost some weight. I’m not that fat.” Still, he later returned to his room and examined himself in the mirror, creating a humorous moment on screen.
