Korea’s strongest television contenders experienced a slight dip in ratings over the past week. However, The Price of Confession continues to dominate buzz charts, with Kim Go Eun and Jeon Do Yeon firmly holding the top spots among the most talked-about actors.
The ratings for Taxi Driver 3 dropped slightly compared to the previous week, yet the series remained the highest-rated miniseries across the final two days of the weekend.
Episodes 9 and 10 focused on Rainbow Taxi’s meticulously planned revenge against entertainment industry “queenpin” Kang Ju Ri (played by Jang Na Ra). Viewers were thoroughly entertained by Kim Do Gi’s flawless undercover performance Lee Je Hoon’s transformation into a full-fledged idol even had audiences “laughing until their stomachs hurt.”
The two episodes recorded ratings of 10% and 11.9%, respectively.
Pro Bono followed a similar pattern. Kang Da Wit (Jung Kyung Ho) continues his winning streak, steadily improving his team’s standing until unexpected complications arise in a high-stakes divorce case involving international marriage law.
Episodes 5 and 6 achieved ratings of 4% and 7.9%, marking noticeable growth as the story intensifies.
Moon River concluded on a satisfying note, achieving its highest rating of the entire series at 6.8% with episode 14.
In the finale, the prime minister meets his end in a rain of arrows. At the crucial moment, Lee Kang (Kang Tae Oh) swaps souls to save Park Dal I (Kim Se Jeong). Her sincere love and desperate plea create a miracle reviving both the destined love tree and her own body. Lee Kang ascends the throne, Dal I becomes queen consort, gives birth to a healthy prince, and together they build a prosperous nation.
Surely Tomorrow maintained stable ratings at 3.3% and 3.4%. On the list of most-buzzed-about dramas during the second week of December, the series climbed three spots to rank No. 4, while the Top 3 remained unchanged from the previous week.
Despite being an original series released all at once on Netflix, The Price of Confession continues to generate strong buzz. Kim Go Eun and Jeon Do Yeon ranked first and second, respectively, on the list of the hottest actors of the second week of December.
Meanwhile, the lead couple of Dynamite Kiss also rose one spot in popularity rankings, signaling growing audience interest.
