Veteran host Yoo Jae-suk personally addressed the departure of longtime co-host Jo Se-ho from tvN’s talk show You Quiz on the Block, following recent allegations linking Jo Se-ho to controversial associations.
The matter was brought up during the December 17 broadcast, which marked the first episode of You Quiz filmed without Jo Se-ho. Yoo Jae-suk appeared alone on set, a noticeable change for viewers accustomed to the duo’s long-running chemistry.
During the opening, Yoo Jae-suk glanced at the familiar gift bag usually handled by Jo Se-ho and paused before speaking.
“This bag is next to me… and its owner right now…” He then continued calmly, confirming that Jo Se-ho had stepped down from the program.
“Our Joseph (Jo Se-ho) has decided to leave You Quiz because of this situation. We worked together for a long time, so doing the show alone today feels… different.”
