Actor Lee Seo Jin’s past comments addressing the infamous “Narae Bar VVIP” rumors involving comedian Park Na Rae have resurfaced, gaining renewed attention amid ongoing discussions surrounding Park’s private gatherings.

The topic dates back to a 2018 episode of KBS2’s variety show “Happy Together 4”, where Lee Seo Jin clarified statements made by Park Na Rae on various broadcasts. During the episode, Park Na Rae jokingly asked, “Mr. Lee Seo Jin, who once got carried out drunk from Narae Bar, will you come again now that we’ve moved?” Fellow cast member Jo Se Ho chimed in, claiming that Lee had been eager to go to the bar.

Lee Seo Jin, however, pushed back on the rumors. He explained, “These stories keep getting exaggerated. I met Na Rae while working on a show with Sejeong, and she invited me to Narae Bar as a thank you. I only went once.” He firmly denied being a “VVIP” or having been carried out due to excessive drinking.

While Park Na Rae had often shared stories on TV suggesting Lee had been heavily intoxicated and rowdy at her bar, Lee clarified, “I was tipsy, yes, but I left early on my own. I didn’t get carried out or shout at anyone. I walked out on my own two feet.” He added, “It wasn’t the kind of atmosphere you’d want to stay long in.”

As these embellished tales continued to circulate, Lee revealed that he once sent Park Na Rae a direct message, saying, “You keep this up and you might get sued.” He told her, “Our agency said if you keep exaggerating this on air, they’ll take legal action.” He humorously noted that after that warning, Park stopped contacting him.

With renewed scrutiny around Park Na Rae’s alleged party culture, the Narae Bar anecdotes have come back into the spotlight. Stories suggesting certain girl group agencies were wary of their artists attending, and actor Jo In Sung reportedly dodging an invite, have led to speculation that many in the entertainment industry were already aware of the bar’s infamous vibe.
