Two tracks from Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters OST and a song by LE SSERAFIM have earned spots on U.S. music magazine Consequence’s annual list, “The 200 Best Songs of 2025.”
According to the list released on December 4 (local time), the film’s OST tracks “Golden” and “Takedown” ranked 16th and 74th, respectively.

Consequence praised Golden, writing that it “shone not because of the ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ that would please the algorithm gods, but because it was genuinely great.” The publication added that the track will likely be heard “at school dances, weddings, gyms, and big box stores for years to come—at least until KPop Demon Hunters 2 brings the next hit.”
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM’s track “Come Over”, from the group’s fifth mini-album, ranked 90th. Consequence described the song’s mantra-like hook, saying its repetition feels “hypnotic.”

“Come Over” features contributions from Josh Lloyd and Lydia Kitto of the acclaimed British band Jungle, helping shape its dreamy, atmospheric sound.
The recognition once again highlights K-pop’s increasing presence and influence in global music publications.
