Recently, Xiumin (EXO) made headlines as the co-chair of a football game platform widely accused of being a disguised gambling site, stirring controversy online.
Marketed as a “playground for football lovers,” the platform, referred to as Platform A, was quickly criticized by netizens for mechanisms that allow users to buy items with real money, trade NFTs, and participate in voting-betting systems that resemble online gambling.
The backlash intensified due to INB100’s decision to prominently display “Xiumin (EXO)” alongside the platform, seemingly putting the entire EXO group’s image at risk during a turbulent period. Once regarded as kind, scandal-free, and professional, he is now criticized as “greedy” and “reckless with his reputation.” Even a single misguided contract could overshadow a career spanning over a decade, particularly when CBX is excluded from EXO’s upcoming December 2025 comeback and fan events, leaving loyal fans shocked and disappointed.
