Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has openly expressed her frustration and concern regarding the current situation involving the three NewJeans members whose return to ADOR remains on hold. Her comments came during a live broadcast of the YouTube show on December 4, where she appeared in the program’s “Genre-only Interview” segment.

Min Hee-jin, who has consistently shown affection toward the NewJeans members even amid her ongoing legal battle with HYBE, did not hide her anger. She accused HYBE of orchestrating a form of “division” that ultimately harms the members.

Min Hee-jin stated that HYBE has continuously portrayed her and NewJeans as “betrayers” following the intense public conflict between ADOR and its parent company.

She emphasized that over 1,700 negative articles were published during the peak of the controversy, which she believes created irreversible emotional pressure on both herself and the members.

“HYBE tied me and NewJeans together and treated us like traitors. The media coverage was explosive over 1,700 articles. Now they’re separating the members in twos and threes… Why are they behaving as if they’re isolating the three?”

Min Hee-jin questioned why HYBE appeared willing to approve the return of only two members Haerin and Hyein while the remaining three were reportedly asked to go through additional steps and verification.

Min Hee-jin strongly criticized HYBE’s stance, arguing that the company claims to “care about the young members” yet continues to make decisions that put them in uncomfortable situations.

“They always say we should protect the young members. Then why split them up like this? Even if two members wanted to return first, I would’ve waited. This only creates more chaos.”

She stressed that if Danielle, Minji, and Hanni expressed their intention to return, the company should have accepted them without questioning motives or demanding further clarification.

“If the three said they want to come back, just accept it. Why question their intentions? That only causes more emotional distress. Adults should know better this is not how you protect them.”

Min Hee-jin’s voice grew emotional as she added: “I’m truly angry and heartbroken. Why make the situation this painful?”

ADOR recently announced the official return of Haerin and Hyein to the label. Following this, Danielle, Minji, and Hanni submitted statements through their legal representatives expressing their desire to rejoin ADOR as well. The three reportedly participated in follow-up meetings, though the progress appears to be delayed.

The lack of immediate acceptance for the trio has sparked widespread debate among fans and industry insiders, fueling speculation about internal conflicts and the future direction of NewJeans under HYBE and ADOR.
