On December 1, a video titled “When Did Krystal Start Dressing Well? A Fashion Timeline of Her 16-Year Career” was released on Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s YouTube channel.
The video explored Krystal’s fashion evolution throughout the years. When shown a childhood modeling profile, she commented, “I think I was around five or six. I took that profile photo as a child model. Looking back at my childhood photos, my mom always dressed me so well,” praising her mother’s fashion sense.
She added, “Even now, I wear my mom’s clothes from 20 to 30 years ago. My sister and I used to dress in matching outfits. At the age I was wearing those, she was still in elementary school, so I often wore her hand-me-downs. That’s what younger siblings do,” she laughed.
When a photo from The Heirs resurfaced, Krystal reminisced, “That was back in 2013, when I was 20 years old in Korean age. Bo-na was a rich girl who always wore designer items, so I used ‘Gossip Girl’ as a reference for the styling.”
Asked about her most memorable fashion moment during filming, she revealed, “I remember borrowing a luxury bag from my sister Jessica for one of the scenes. But unfortunately, it was the exact scene where someone throws my bag to the floor. Jessica was furious when she saw that!”
Meanwhile, Krystal recently released her first solo single “Solitary.”
