According to iMBC Entertainment on December 2, Park Hae Jin has been confirmed for the lead role in SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama Good Partner Season 2, written by Choi Yu Na and directed by Kim Ga Ram.

Good Partner is a courtroom drama that revolves around the lives of divorce attorneys. Its first season aired from July to September last year and became a breakout success, achieving peak viewership ratings of 17.7% (Nielsen Korea). Thanks to its popularity, a second season was officially greenlit.

In Season 1, Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun starred as star divorce attorney Cha Eun Kyung and passionate rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, respectively. Jang Na Ra has confirmed her return for Season 2, while Nam Ji Hyun has opted out. Actor Kim Jun Han has also exited, whereas Pyo Ji Hoon (P.O) is joining the cast. The vacant spot left by Nam Ji Hyun will now be filled by actress Kim Hye Yoon, adding to the excitement.

With these major lineup changes, fans were most curious about who would take on the pivotal male lead role to anchor the series and now Park Hae Jin has been chosen. His addition is expected to enhance the drama’s depth and balance significantly.
