The list of the Top 10 best‑selling manga of 2025 has finally been revealed by Oricon, featuring several Shonen Jump favorites and even a few unexpected entries.

According to Oricon, this year’s rankings across the three major categories show intense competition, with the top four volumes each surpassing 1.2 million copies sold. The remaining titles range between 566,342 and 977,955 copies.

While the list is largely dominated by shonen blockbusters, The Apothecary Diaries and Kingdom stand out as slower, drama‑focused series that found their way into the rankings. The Apothecary Diaries offers readers a long‑form story filled with tension and personal intrigue, whereas Kingdom delivers a fictionalized retelling of China’s Warring States era.

Fan favorites Spy x Family, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen also secured their spots expected, given their long‑standing popularity. This is especially true for My Hero Academia, which has seen renewed attention ahead of its anime finale airing next summer.

One Piece Officially Becomes the Best‑Selling Manga of 2025

One Piece Vol. 111 – 1,370,154 copies sold

Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 30 – 1,329,993 copies sold

One Piece Vol. 112 – 1,217,769 copies sold

Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 29 – 1,298,880 copies sold

My Hero Academia Vol. 42 – 977,955 copies sold

Spy x Family Vol. 15 – 802,206 copies sold

One Piece Vol. 113 – 796,155 copies sold

Spy x Family Vol. 16 – 633,210 copies sold

Kingdom Vol. 74 – 583,210 copies sold

The Apothecary Diaries Vol. 15 – 566,342 copies sold

Perhaps the least surprising title not just appearing in the rankings, but dominating them is One Piece.

Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga securing the title of best‑selling manga of the year is remarkable no matter how many major releases it competes against. More impressively, 2025 marks the third consecutive year that the series has topped Oricon’s annual chart and the 15th time overall, the highest number any series has ever achieved in Oricon’s manga ranking history.

Fans are now eagerly anticipating next year’s anime content, where the series will finally enter the iconic Elbaf arc from the original manga. And they may have already received a subtle confirmation regarding the voice actor for an upcoming character set to debut in the 2026 anime.

Kenjiro Tsuda Voices Figarland Shamrock

Kenjiro Tsuda best known for his role as Nanami Kento in Jujutsu Kaisen has recently taken on the role of Figarland Shamrock in One Piece. Figarland Shamrock, the cruel older brother of Red‑Haired Emperor Shanks, made only a brief cameo during the Levely arc (episode 887). Since then, fans have wondered when the character would reappear and who would voice him.

A promotional trailer for One Piece Volume 113 may have answered that question, as Tsuda’s voice can be heard portraying Shamrock in the official teaser.

The continued dominance of One Piece, together with the success of other major titles like Spy x Family, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen, shows that the manga market is stronger than ever setting the stage for an exciting new era of anime ahead.
