On November 13, Ryu Hye Young shared a video titled “This clip is packed with scenes of us enjoying good food” on her YouTube channel. The video captures a casual yet heartwarming look at the filming process, giving viewers a rare glimpse into the off-screen camaraderie between the cast members.
In one scene, the actors gather for a late-night meal, warmly greeting the camera held by Ryu. Ryu introduces the setting, pointing out, “So Hee and senior Min Sik are also enjoying the food,” as she pans the camera to show Han So Hee and veteran actor Choi Min Sik eating next to her. Han So Hee playfully strikes a pose and flashes a V-sign, showing her signature charm and spontaneity.
To the delight of viewers, Han So Hee even subscribes to Ryu’s channel on camera, saying she hadn’t yet but would do it right then. Ryu, touched by the gesture, exclaimed, “I’ve already reached 9,000 subscribers! I only aimed for 1,000. This is nine times the goal—thank you!”
In another funny moment, the two actresses enjoy a bowl of short rib ramen prepared by barbecue expert Yoo Yong Wook. When Choi Min Sik teases Han So Hee, saying, “Didn’t you say you weren’t eating? But you’re having ramen,” she jokes, “It just happened. I couldn’t resist.” She even admits, “I actually have a health checkup tomorrow, but I’m still eating. Sorry, doctor. I can’t resist the smell of ramen.”
With her trademark honesty, Han So Hee added, “How can you eat healthy food all the time? That’s such a boring life. I talk more honestly when the camera’s rolling. Sorry!” Ryu agreed, “So Hee is even more real when the camera’s on.”
At one point, a staff member praises Ryu’s channel, calling it “the hottest YouTube channel these days.” Han So Hee chimed in, “YouTube’s in chaos right now. Ads are coming soon. The algorithm only recommends your videos.”
Meanwhile, Intern, the film they’re working on, is a Korean remake of the American movie of the same name. It tells the story of Sun Woo (played by Han So Hee), a passionate CEO of a fashion company, and Gi Ho (played by Choi Min Sik), a seasoned intern with a wealth of life experience. The film is expected to showcase a unique blend of charm, wit, and emotional depth, with the star-studded cast adding to the anticipation.
