CL, a member of legendary girl group 2NE1, has sparked concern among fans after posting a heartfelt message alongside new photos with Sandara Park and Gong Minzy noticeably without Park Bom, who is currently on hiatus.
On November 10, CL shared the images on Instagram, captioning it with the words, “Prayers going up.” The photo shows CL dressed in stage attire with Sandara and Minzy, moments before a performance. In a touching display of affection, Minzy is seen giving CL a kiss on the cheek, while Dara stands by smiling warmly.
Fans quickly noticed Park Bom’s absence, especially given her current break from activities due to health concerns. CL’s message, while simple, is widely interpreted as a show of support and solidarity for Bom.
Park Bom had announced her hiatus in August, citing health issues. However, her situation became more complicated in September when she publicly threatened legal action against YG executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, accusing him of embezzlement and failing to properly settle her earnings from 2NE1’s past activities.
Regarding this, her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, clarified that financial matters related to the group had been settled and denied that any lawsuit had been filed, despite Bom having shared an alleged complaint on social media.
The agency also stated, “Park Bom is currently in an emotionally unstable state and urgently needs rest and treatment.” Shortly after, Bom refuted this claim herself, stating, “I’m Park Bom. I’ve always been totally fine health-wise.”
