On November 4, a new video was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Cheonggyesan Daengi Records,” titled “Jo Jung-suk X ‘Sculpted Visuals’ Ji Chang-wook & Do Kyung-soo’s Mukbang Talk”. The segment featured Jo Jung-suk, Ji Chang-wook, and Do Kyung-soo (D.O. of EXO) discussing their latest projects and filming experiences.
While Ji Chang-wook and Do Kyung-soo talked about their Disney+ series The Manipulated, Do Kyung-soo also opened up about the challenges of his first villain role. “I tried to control my weight, but while watching the dubbing session, I noticed I looked slim in one cut and had a fuller face in another even though it was the same scene!” he laughed.
This prompted Jo Jung-suk to recall a similar moment from Hospital Playlist. “At the end of Season 1, there’s a scene that directly connects to the start of Season 2,” he said. “But Kim Dae-myung had aged so noticeably that they had to reshoot it!” The remark drew laughter and highlighted the small but real challenges of maintaining continuity in multi-season dramas.

Do Kyung-soo was also asked if there’s anything he’s recently grown more fond of. He replied, “With more performances, I’ve started to sing more comfortably. It’s a small improvement, but I can feel it.” He added that if he hadn’t become a singer or actor, he might have pursued a career as a chef or hairstylist. “My mother is a hairdresser, and I’ve always thought it looked interesting.”
The lighthearted talk between the three actors gave fans a deeper look into the realities of filming and aging in the entertainment world, as well as the evolving careers of top stars like Jo Jung-suk and Do Kyung-soo.
