On November 3, the YouTube channel “Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup” featured Song Ji Hyo and Kim Byung Chul as guests to promote their upcoming film Savior, set to premiere on November 5.
During the episode, host Shin Dong Yup brought up the well-known fact that many Running Man members have low alcohol tolerance: “Yoo Jae Suk can’t drink at all, and neither can Ji Seok Jin. But when Jong Kook drinks, he can easily outdrink me, Ji Hyo, and Jung Ho Chul combined. He’s incredibly strong but just chooses not to drink.”
Backing up Shin Dong Yup’s statement, Song Ji Hyo added, “That’s true. Kim Jong Kook only drinks once a year — at the Entertainment Awards. He only drinks soju and water. After finishing everything, he ends with an ice cream. But the amount he consumes is beyond anything you can imagine.”
Shin Dong Yup agreed: “I’ve had drinks with Jong Kook maybe once every few years, and he doesn’t budge. He doesn’t even get tipsy.” When Jung Ho Chul commented, “No one’s ever seen him drunk,” both Shin Dong Yup and Song Ji Hyo confirmed, “Not even once.”
