Sean Taffin de Givenchy, heir to the prestigious French luxury brand Givenchy, recently tied the knot with his Korean partner Jung Dahye in what’s being dubbed by French media as “the wedding of the year.”

According to the Daily Mail, the couple held their elegant wedding in August 2025 in Paris, surrounded by close friends and family. Both in their late 20s, Sean and Dahye met in 2018 while studying at McGill University in Montreal, and have been together for seven years before officially becoming husband and wife.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Basilique Sainte-Clotilde, a historic cathedral in the heart of Paris. The celebrations began with a rehearsal dinner at La Fontaine Gaillon, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and concluded with a reception at the elegant Le Pavillon Dauphine.

In an interview with Vogue France, Jung Dahye shared her vision for the wedding: “I dreamed of a ceremony that blended timeless classic beauty with Parisian chic. I created over 100 vision boards every weekend, and our planner brought that vision to life flawlessly.”

Their wedding has since garnered widespread attention across European media and fashion circles, not only for its glamorous setting but also for its symbolism — a beautiful union of French legacy and Korean elegance.
