In a bizarre and unexpected twist, Jimmy Gulzar ex-husband of Mel B from the Spice Girls publicly called out David Beckham on Instagram, igniting curiosity and confusion across social media.
On October 21, Gulzar posted a cryptic message: “David Beckham, it’s your old pal Jimmy Gulzar here. Tell me, when are you gonna tell people the truth? Or… should I perhaps?” He followed this up two hours later with another post: “David, are you suffering from severe memory loss or something else? Tell the truth! Or did you just wake up one day, wave your magic wand and poeff?”
The nature of Gulzar’s accusation remains unclear, but his comments quickly went viral. Netizens flooded his Instagram with pleas for clarity: “Please just say it,” “What truth?”, “We want to know what’s going on,” and “Write a book already.”
However, some accused Gulzar of trying to capitalize on Beckham’s fame for attention or money. He clapped back: “Money? Where? How? Insta? Go check yourself before you speak.”
When one commenter questioned his timing, noting he had decades to share his truth, Gulzar replied, “I can say the same thing David had decades to tell the truth. Why didn’t he?”

Jimmy Gulzar, a Dutch-born dancer, married Mel B in 1998 when she was pregnant with their daughter, Phoenix Chi. They separated in 2000, and Mel later moved to the U.S. after gaining custody. Gulzar followed illegally to remain close to his daughter.
In a 2017 interview with The Sun, Gulzar accused Mel B of sabotaging his relationship with Phoenix. “She’s narcissistic. She always tried to build a wall between me and my daughter,” he claimed, admitting that at times he felt so hopeless he considered ending his life.
He added, “There were times I was homeless and undocumented, and Phoenix never knew. But I stayed strong, because she needed me.”
