Epik High’s Tablo has shared a jaw-dropping story about one of the most extravagant YG Entertainment dinners — involving BIGBANG’s T.O.P and a bottle of wine worth ₩20 million (approx. $14,500).
In a new video uploaded to Epik High’s official YouTube channel titled “Not Sure If We Traveled or Broke Up ft. Singapore Food Court”, Tablo reminisced about a luxurious YG family dinner that left a lasting impression.
“We drank the most expensive wine of our lives in Singapore,” Tablo recalled. “After one of our performances, YG said we could order anything. Then T.O.P ordered a ₩20 million bottle of wine.”
Tablo admitted that despite the price, the taste didn’t impress him as much as the number. “That’s when I realized I can’t tell the difference between ₩20 million and ₩2,000 wine — it all tastes the same to me,” he joked, drawing laughter from fans.
His bandmates Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz chimed in with their own memories. Mithra said, “We really ate like royalty that day,” while Tukutz added, “The best food always comes from company dinners.”
Epik High, who debuted in 2003, signed with YG Entertainment in 2012 and parted ways after six years in 2018. During that time, Tablo also served as the head of YG’s sub-label HIGHGRND, managing artists like Hyukoh, The Black Skirts, and Code Kunst, before stepping down in 2017.
Even years after leaving YG, Tablo’s candid storytelling continues to captivate fans — offering a rare, humorous glimpse into the lavish lifestyle once shared by YG artists.
