On October 6, the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun uploaded a new episode titled “Chuseok Flipping Excuses.” The show featured Cha Tae Hyun, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Nam Chang Hee in a lighthearted discussion about relationships and personal stories.
During the conversation, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned that he had never met Nam Chang Hee’s girlfriend, though he had heard she was beautiful. Nam jokingly confirmed the rumors, leading the cast to reminisce about wedding moments. Cha Tae Hyun recalled that HaHa had made similar compliments at Kim Jong Kook’s wedding, which he initially mistook for a joke.
This led Cha Tae Hyun to reveal that, unlike most guests, he had secretly taken photos at the ceremony. “No one else was taking pictures because they said not to. But the venue was so beautiful, with flowers raining down from above, that I couldn’t resist. I didn’t hear the ‘no photos’ notice, so I took some shots—even of Jong Kook himself,” he explained.
Yoo Jae Suk countered, reminding him that guests were explicitly asked not to take photos, which explained the unusual sight of an audience with no cameras raised. Yoo reflected that this restriction made the ceremony feel more meaningful, as guests focused on the moment rather than their phones.
Cha Tae Hyun then revealed the photos he had captured—though he clarified that none featured the bride. He joked that the wedding organizers probably hoped people would take more pictures of the elaborate decorations, but since the wedding was private, he had kept them under wraps until now.
When Yoo Jae Suk teased him that Kim Jong Kook might be upset, Cha Tae Hyun laughed it off: “It doesn’t matter anymore. He’s married now. Whether they live happily or not, that’s up to them—we don’t have to worry!” His playful remark left the studio in laughter.
