On October 3, through Marie Claire Korea’s YouTube channel, Kim Sejeong revealed the cherished items inside her bag. When asked what flower best represents her, she replied, “My mom used to call me ‘the one who resembles a wildflower.’ At some point, I also wanted to become like a wildflower—beautiful no matter where it blooms. That’s the kind of person I aspire to be.”
She also introduced a grip strength tool and discussed her fitness habits. “Honestly, in my 20s, I relied a lot on what I was naturally born with, so I was more confident. But those days are gone. Recently, I’ve been focusing on building basic stamina through running. I don’t really have a sport I’m particularly good at anymore,” she admitted.
When asked about the highlight of Moon River, Kim Sejeong responded playfully, “Many people have told me that Kang Tae Oh and I have great facial synergy—and both of us agree with that.” She added, “There’s the joy of watching our visuals, our chemistry, and the fun storyline. I want to tell viewers that the real excitement begins from episode 3. The earlier episodes focus on explaining our relationship, but if you stick with it, from episode 3 it flows so quickly and entertainingly that you won’t even realize how it ends.”
Moon River is a fantasy romance historical drama about a soul swap between a crown prince who has lost his smile and a bounty hunter who has lost her memory. The drama is set to premiere on October 31 on MBC.
