Previously, on September 30, HyunA and her husband, former Highlight member Yong Jun Hyung, departed from Incheon International Airport to attend the Token of Love Festival in Singapore. At the airport, the couple greeted fans and reporters, but HyunA’s fuller figure immediately caught public attention, fueling speculation that she might be pregnant. However, HyunA’s side has denied pregnancy rumors.

Throughout her career, HyunA has been known for her extremely slim physique, often sparking concern from fans. At the start of her debut, she revealed her height as 164 cm and weight as 43.1 kg—equating to a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 16.02, placing her among the lowest percentile for women her age.

Because she had consistently maintained a very thin frame, her visibly fuller look led some to believe she could be expecting. However, her agency quickly clarified that the speculation was unfounded.

HyunA debuted in 2007 at just 14 years old as a member of Wonder Girls. She has openly shared her past struggles with weight, revealing that she lost around 17 kg in preparation for her debut. Diet control has long been her main focus, avoiding “white foods” such as flour, white rice, and sugar, while practicing small, frequent meals to shrink her appetite over time.

Her strict regimen included lean proteins like chicken breast and beef, salads for dinner, and a complete ban on late-night snacks. In preparation for comebacks, HyunA reportedly walked for six hours daily, in addition to Pilates, strength training, cardio, and intense choreography practice.

She has also advised fans through her YouTube channel not to take on diet and exercise changes simultaneously to avoid burnout. Instead, she recommended mastering one habit before adding another. HyunA mentioned that when her schedule is less demanding, she tries to maintain her weight at around 45 kg.
