On September 19, Daesung of BIGBANG uploaded a new episode to his personal YouTube channel titled “Zip Daesung Ep.75 Baby V.O.X”. During the interview, Daesung asked about future activities for the iconic first-generation girl group.

Yoon Eun Hye explained, “If the four older members promoted without me, there were always so many feud rumors. So we decided, instead of insisting on having all five of us together, let’s think about ways to enjoy Baby V.O.X activities long-term, in a fun way.”

Member Kim E-Z noted, “It always seemed to weigh more heavily on the youngest (Yoon Eun Hye).” Yoon then admitted, “While focusing on acting, I tried to erase my singer image. I didn’t distance myself from the older members, but I was embarrassed by my unpolished and unprepared self back then. I couldn’t bear to watch it. Now that I’m older, I can look at those times with more affection and realize there’s no need to dislike my past self so much.”

She also shared her debut story: “In my third year of middle school, an agency suddenly called and asked me to audition at a karaoke room. There were so many talented people before me, I felt shy and leaned against the wall. The CEO saw that and thought it looked confident, so he chose me. I thought I was joining a cute group, but suddenly we were doing sexy concepts, and I didn’t know how to handle it.”

Baby V.O.X halted activities in 2006, but Yoon Eun Hye continued to face rumors of being bullied or feuding with members for nearly 18 years. These were finally dismissed after the group reunited on stage at the 2024 KBS Song Festival, showing strong unity as a complete lineup.
