On September 12 in Toronto, Han So Hee and Jeon Jong Seo joined a Close-Up Talk session for their new film Project Y (directed by Lee Hwan). During the event, clips from their early careers were shown, including Jeon’s breakout in Burning and Han So Hee’s appearance in Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature.
Reflecting on her debut days, Han candidly said, “When I see myself back then, I get raw thoughts. I even feel like I’ve aged a lot now.” The actress, born in 1993 and currently 32, chuckled after the comment, acknowledging the humor in her own words. The remark immediately drew laughter from the crowd, especially as fans had already shouted “You’re so beautiful!” when she first appeared on stage.
Han So Hee has long been recognized for her striking visuals, debuting in dramas like Money Flower and rising to fame with The World of the Married. Just a day earlier, her red-carpet appearance alongside Jeon Jong Seo at Project Y’s TIFF premiere became a hot topic for their stunning looks.
Despite her playful humility, Han emphasized her commitment to growth: “Every time I’m grateful to be given a new project, I think hard about how to approach it differently and show a new side of myself. The times are moving quickly, and keeping pace with them feels like one of my tasks.”

Project Y tells the story of Misun (Han So Hee) and Dokyung (Jeon Jong Seo), two people with nothing but each other, who attempt to escape their harsh reality by stealing hidden black money and gold bars. The crime film was officially invited to TIFF’s Special Presentations section, with both actresses attending the film’s premiere and red carpet on September 10 (local time) alongside director Lee Hwan to greet local fans.
