On September 11, a video titled “Han Ga In, Who Has Almost No Celebrity Friends, Meets Her True Friend Actress Shin Hyun Been (Hospital Playlist Jang Gyeo Ul’s Update)” was uploaded to her YouTube channel “Free Wife Han Ga In.”
In the video, Han Ga In was joined by her close friend Shin Hyun Been. The two first bonded while working together on OCN’s drama Mistress in 2018 and have maintained their friendship for the past eight years.
While sharing a meal, Han Ga In admitted, “I don’t have many celebrity friends. Most of the people I’m close with are either other moms from my children’s school or friends I’ve had since before. Hyun Been is one of the very few celebrity friends I have.”
She went on to explain, “It’s not easy to completely open up when meeting friends through work. Because of the nature of our jobs, we end up putting up walls, making it hard to really show our true feelings.”
Reflecting on their time filming Mistress, Han Ga In added, “The four of us talked so much back then. It felt like being back in high school with close friends.” Shin Hyun Been agreed, saying it was like living together in a dorm.
Han Ga In also shared that she makes sure to watch and support all of Shin Hyun Been’s projects, showing the warmth of their enduring friendship.
