According to SBS on September 12, the upcoming episode of My Little Old Boy (airing September 14) will feature actors Cha Tae-hyun and Yoon Shi-yoon, comedian Kim Jun-ho, and singer Kim Jong-min embarking on an impromptu trip. The reunion is special for fans, as the four starred together on 2 Days & 1 Night Season 3, which aired from 2016 to 2019.
Their “no-plan” getaway quickly turned chaotic, with even small tasks like grocery shopping and grilling meat decided through random games. True to their 2 Days & 1 Night roots, they even engaged in psychological battles over who would have to plunge into the valley water, adding tension and laughter.

In the midst of the trip, talk turned to Kim Jong-kook’s marriage. Cha Tae-hyun revealed his past worries about Kim’s famously frugal personality, even once calling Kim’s mother while drunk to complain that “he’ll never get married at this rate.” He also shared how he immediately guessed Kim’s wedding news during a video call, sparking curiosity about the exact words Kim had said.
The highlight came when the group began discussing wedding gift money. Cha Tae-hyun pulled out the guest list from his own 2006 wedding, while Kim Jun-ho revealed his own recent wedding records—leading to the unexpected revelation of the “top donor” that left the studio stunned.
Attention also turned to Cha Tae-hyun himself, who previously made headlines for giving only 30,000 won (about $22) at Kim Jun-ho’s wedding. Kim Jun-ho jokingly complained on My Little Old Boy that Cha’s contribution was the lowest of all guests, while his wife Kim Ji-min clarified that Cha later made it up by giving her a much larger personal gift.
