On August 28, Jang Won-young shared several photos of herself dressed in military uniform on her account. At first, she flaunted her long flowing hair with a refreshing smile and bright eyes, but once she put on her military cap, her expression quickly darkened. By the end, after completing a field training exercise and boarding a vehicle, she showed a blank stare and messy hair, drawing laughter from fans.
Joining Kai’s “Jeongwaja” content titled “Voluntary Military Enlistment,” Jang even revealed her struggles mid-training, jokingly asking, “Can I call a taxi here?” as if she wanted to escape.
Known for keeping her signature positive mantra “Lucky Vicky” even in tough times, Jang finally cracked when an instructor repeatedly scolded her for having a “small voice.” Under her breath, she muttered “Aish,” a mild Korean expletive, making viewers laugh at the rare sight of her breaking character.
Fans reacted with comments such as, “Jang Won-young actually forgot ‘Lucky Vicky’,” “Her first time using rough words since debut,” and “Even in uniform, she’s still adorable.”
