Actress Lee Yoo-young has announced that she is expecting her second child, bringing yet another joyful update to fans. The news comes about seven months after her belated wedding ceremony. Back in September last year, Lee Yoo-young held a long-awaited wedding ceremony that felt like a scene out of a movie. On April 5, her agency Ace Factory confirmed, “Actress Lee Yoo-young is pregnant with her second child and is expected to give birth in September.” It was also revealed that she has just entered the early stages of pregnancy and is currently focusing on maintaining her health.
On the same day, Lee Yoo-young shared a glimpse of her personal life through social media, writing, “Finally posting my hanbok photos and the beautiful memories from around my baby’s first birthday.” The photos featured intimate family moments with her husband and first daughter, radiating warmth and happiness. Notably, her daughter’s resemblance to her caught attention, further highlighting the family’s affectionate bond.

In the past, Lee Yoo-young was known for her relationship with the late actor Kim Joo-hyuk (Reply 1988), whom she dated for about a year. The two met while filming Yourself and Yours and quickly became a couple. They were even planning to get married in 2017, but tragically, Kim Joo-hyuk passed away in a car accident at the age of 45, just before the wedding.
Born in 1989, Lee Yoo-young made her film debut in 2014 and quickly rose to fame with performances in acclaimed works such as The Treacherous, Remember You, and dramas like Dear Judge and Insider. Before entering the entertainment industry, Lee Yoo-young worked at a hair salon.
