On August 22, BigHit Music officially announced via Weverse that all five members — Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai — had renewed their contracts. The agency stated, “We will provide full support so that the members can expand their activities in various ways, and we will be a strong partner to ensure TXT’s music and performances continue to reach the world.”
On the same day, during the first concert of their 4th world tour ACT: TOMORROW at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, the members shared the news directly with fans. Leader Soobin expressed his sincere gratitude in a handwritten letter, saying, “We promised to go longer and farther together, so we’ve all completed our re-signing. Thank you for being with us from debut until today.”

Since debuting in 2019 with The Dream Chapter: STAR, TXT has built a distinct identity through intricate storytelling, striking visuals, and unforgettable performances. They have risen on global stages, performing at Lollapalooza Chicago, the largest music festival in the US, for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023. Last year, they became the first K-pop group to headline the event. They made history this year as the first K-pop group invited to perform at Mexico’s renowned AXE Ceremonia festival.
Musically, TXT has also set milestones. Their 5th mini album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION (2023) topped the US “Billboard 200”, staying on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks. Their 4th full-length album The Star Chapter: TOGETHER entered at No.3 and has remained on the chart for weeks, showing continued global demand.

With all members now officially re-signed, TXT will continue their Seoul concerts through August 23 before heading to the US and Japan. The group will perform in seven US cities starting with San Jose on September 9, and then move on to three Japanese cities.
Currently, BigHit Music’s roster includes Lee Hyun, BTS, TXT, and rookie group CORTIS, who debuted in August 2025. TXT’s renewed contract marks a significant moment, securing their place at the forefront of K-pop for years to come.
