Actress Nam Bo-ra made a candid revelation about her past relationship during her recent guest appearance on SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show” aired on August 21.
In the episode, Nam Bo-ra appeared alongside singer Kim Soo-chan in the segment “Love Go-Stop”, with comedian Kwak Beom as special DJ. When a listener sent in a story about debating whether to contact an ex after two years, Nam Bo-ra opened up about her own experience.
She confessed, “I once broke up with a boyfriend because he cheated. I thought I would scold him if I ever met him again, but when we unexpectedly ran into each other on the road, all I could do was glare at him through the car window. My hands were actually shaking.”
When host Kim Tae-gyun jokingly asked if she had crashed into his car, Nam Bo-ra laughed and replied, “If I had done that, I wouldn’t be here right now.” She added with humor, “Back then, I drove a domestic car while he had an imported one.”
Her honest yet witty remarks brought both laughter and empathy from listeners, as many could relate to the mix of anger and vulnerability after such an encounter.
Nam Bo-ra debuted in 2006 with the KBS sitcom “Look Back With a Smile”. Earlier this year, on May 10, she tied the knot with a non-celebrity businessman the same age as her, whom she met through church volunteer work. It was also revealed that her husband resembles soccer star Son Heung-min.
