On August 10, Lee shared a statement on her social media, saying, “I always check before uploading photos or videos to my feed to make sure nothing is wrong, but it seems I still make mistakes. I sincerely apologize to those who felt uncomfortable because of my recent video.”
The controversy began on August 6, when Lee posted a video showing her visiting a restaurant in the United States with acquaintances. In the footage, her young son is seen walking around during the meal, dancing, and peeking at other tables, which some viewers perceived as disruptive to other diners.

Criticism intensified because Lee appeared not to stop her son’s actions, and some guests’ faces were shown without mosaic blurring, raising privacy concerns.
Addressing the backlash, Lee said, “I will be more careful in the future,” expressing remorse over the incident.
The apology has received mixed reactions online, with some accepting her statement while others calling for greater awareness from public figures when sharing personal content.
