On August 5, a woman identified only as A posted on her social media, claiming that actor Park Si-hoo, once a household name in Korean drama, played a significant role in the breakdown of her family.
In a now-viral Instagram story, she directly mentioned Park Si-hoo, writing, “‘Quirky’ Si-hoo, when we lived in UN Village, you kept calling me sister-in-law. But since 2020, you’ve been introducing women to B. You should’ve stopped when you could.” She added that Park Si-hoo and two other individuals, allegedly referred to as “uncles” by her child, contributed to the family’s collapse.

The woman also posted screenshots of alleged messages showing Park Si-hoo sharing a woman’s photo and bank account details—implying he acted as a middleman. She ended her message with a chilling note: “Sue me. I’ve already lost my child. There’s not much else left to lose besides my house and car.”
Park Si-hoo, who gained fame through dramas like Sassy Girl Chun-hyang, Cheongdam-dong Alice, and Kingmaker: The Change of Destiny (2020), had previously faded from the spotlight. This latest issue marks another bump in a career already tarnished by a 2013 rape allegation involving a female trainee. Though charges were dropped after the accuser retracted her claim, public trust never fully recovered.

Despite the controversies, Park Si-hoo had been active on TikTok live streams and Instagram, communicating with fans and teasing his acting return. He was confirmed to star in the upcoming drama The Mentalist, signaling a long-awaited comeback after years of hiatus. Now, however, his future appears uncertain once more.
This ongoing situation raises renewed questions about celebrity accountability, media scrutiny, and the blurred lines between personal and public life. As of now, Park Si-hoo has not issued an official statement regarding the accusations.
